He wanted to buy a car that was listed for sale. He responded to the ad for purchasing 2011 Ford Focus. According to victim stone, the ad owner said that he wanted to sell his car in order to pay his debt. He also said that he inherited the car from his grandmother. Now she is no more in this world and he wanted to sell this asset. The supposed car owner demanded the cash instantly. The victim pays $10,000 to the car owner. He drew all money from his account and also borrowed some money. He convinced his mother to take money by saying that both will use the car. Then they decided the place for meeting. He wanted to check the condition of the car. After checking the car he confirmed the VIN number from local office. He was confident that car was not theft from anyone. Then he took the keys from the seller and wanted to check the car. The seller gave the keys to buyers and took cash for counting. The seller had another set of keys and drove off the car. Stone list his cash and car both. Later on he reported the local police. They started investigation at the spot. The officers are investigating scam. They also warned the other people to remain aware about such scams. The victim wishes that if someone warned then he would be able to avoid such loss. Everything was perfectly right.
